On 21 April 2026, students of the Optometry department participated in a road safety event in collaboration with Talabat at Rotana Hotel. As part of the Talabat drivers' annunal check-up, the students conducted vision screenings, prescribed necessary spectables, and extended a special offer for the drivers to have their eyeglasses dispenses at the Qaiwan Eyeglass Shop.
